Killer is a pet dog owned by Marina Datillo, previously owned by Thora Read. She was found as a stray by Thora, then adopted. She is often portrayed as extremely violent and hostile; Killer attacked and injured both Thora, and her granddaughter, Kate Read. This resulted in a scheduled euthanization, which was later cancelled with Killer was found and retrieved by the visually-impaired Marina Datillo, who opted for Killer to be her new seeing-eye dog.
